A work in progress - flower garden

A little while back I shared a tutorial on the Posy quilt block. I really enjoyed making a few of these up, but I'm not sure yet how I will lay them out. All I know is that I don't want them in rows... So, I will continue to ponder and enjoy making up some little flowers in the mean time. Finally a garden that needs no water!

Tell me, what would you do next?

  1. I kind of like the way you have them arranged on your design wall now!

  2. They are so cute! They would look adorable scattered like that across a strippy low-volume background. You can just add triangles to the edge of each block so that when they are squared-up to the rows of strips the purple flowers are off kilter.

  3. Oh these are cute! Just this afternoon I tried paper piecing for the first time and made a kaleidoscope block which look really similar to this. From my first venture into paper piecing I HATE IT! Now I can rescue those blocks and make some of these instead! :D
